Welcome to the “jewel” island of Lesvos in the Aegean Sea.
An island with not only rich and very important history but with intellectual culture too.
Great people were born in Mytilene and praised it through out the centuries, such as Sapfo the amorous poet, who was born in Eressos, Terpandros the creator of the choral poetry, who was born in Andissa, Pittakos one of the seven wiser men of ancient Greece, who was born in Mytilene, Theofilos the self-taught painter whose paintings decorate every corner of the island, and of course many many others.

Lesvos is one of the top European destinations for bird-watchers, in springtime particularly, April into May. The list of the birds that visit our island and more specifically the hydro biologic places in the area of Skala Kalloni seems endless.
My name is Anastasia Kontou. I was born in Lesvos and I live in Skala Kalloni with my husband Sotiris and our two children Eva and Evangelia.

In 2001 we opened our office and we hire out bicycles, motorbikes and scooters. We call our office “MOTOR TAXIARCHIS”, my fathers name. Saint TAXIARCHIS is an archangel who protects our island.
Our office offers quality, great service, and above all, safety. All our scooters and motorbikes are YAMAHA. YAMAHA as a company offers us the quality we were looking for and in addiction with the choice of the best repair workshop for the service, we have managed to offer our costumers reliability and quick service all over the island.

Our office is opened all day long from 8am to 10 pm. We have managed it because our house is above the office.
What you may not know is that you need a scooter license if you want to hire one, and not a driving license, you see the low has been changed.

We wait for you in our island to enjoy its beauty. We are expecting you in our office to offer our service and we promise you have comfortable and interesting vacations.
